A New York University (NYU) business student, Cameron Deahl focuses on marketing and has plans of seeking a career in the entertainment industry. He is also minoring in both psychology and producing, with the latter coursework spanning television management and the marketing of films. Cameron Deahl also engages in the media sphere through membership in the school’s Entertainment Business Association.
Since late 2016, Mr. Deahl has served as a marketing and programming intern with the Brooklyn-based streaming movie company MUBI. The firm has pioneered a cinephile-focused, curated-platform approach, with a limited number of movies categorized into genres such as foreign language, cult classic, and critically acclaimed. Mr. Deahl’s responsibilities center on researching marketing avenues for expanding the brand and acquiring new films.
Cameron Deahl also maintains a position with NYU’s Office of Admissions as admissions ambassador and takes prospective students and their parents on guided tours. He additionally handles phone calls for the office in the campus Welcome Center.
